This Privacy Policy applies to all services, features, and content provided by Apex Nursing, a platform operated by Apex Ascend Group, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the platform, you agree to the practices described here. We will notify you of material changes by posting an updated policy with a revised effective date.

Account Information.If you create an account, we collect the information you provide during registration, which may include your name, email address, and password credentials. Authentication is handled through Supabase and may involve third-party identity providers. Supabase stores session tokens in your browser's local storage to maintain your login state. If you add an optional profile photo, it is stored privately in your account's storage space, is visible only to you, and is deleted when you delete your cloud copy or your account.

Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, session duration, and performance metrics. This helps us improve the educational experience.

Preferences & Progress. We may store your saved content, favorites, quiz history, and other preferences to personalize your experience across sessions.

Communications. If you contact us or subscribe to communications, we collect your email address and the content of your messages.

Cookies & Local Storage. We use browser local storage to remember your preferences (such as saved topics and tool settings) on your device. Our advertising partner (Google AdSense) sets cookies to serve and measure ads; where consent is required, we ask for it first (see Advertisingbelow). You can change your choice anytime via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, or control cookies through your browser settings.

Payment Information. If future paid features are introduced, payment processing will be handled by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card data on our servers.

Current and potential service categories include: cloud hosting, authentication infrastructure (including Supabase), privacy-focused analytics tools, email delivery platforms, and payment processors.

We use Google AdSense to display advertising on the platform. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

You can review and control how Google uses your data, and opt out of personalized advertising, in your Google Ad Settings. If you decline, you may still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with data brokers. We do use Google AdSense to display ads, which relies on advertising cookies as described under Advertising above. We may also share information in the following limited circumstances:

Apex Nursing is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically as the platform evolves. We will post the revised policy with an updated effective date. For significant changes, we may also provide additional notice through the platform or by email. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
